Tax Partner

Chris Sintetos has over 25 years of diversified experience advising businesses and families on financial and tax matters.  He has an extensive background of both public accounting and private sector experience.

Chris has broad tax experience in a number of industries.  His work in real estate extends from office buildings to shopping centers, including the special treatment of foreign ownership of U.S. Real Property (FIRPTA).  Chris provides specialized planning for high net worth individuals, consulting on their ownership of closely-held businesses including sports franchises.  His medical practice expertise ranges from buy-in to retirement, understanding financial and managerial aspects of running medical practices coupled with years of consulting on a variety of related matters.

His extensive tax experience covers many areas including:

  • Multi-state income taxes
  • Consolidated returns
  • Non-U.S. taxpayers who choose to do business in the U.S.
  • Mergers and acquisitions

Chris joined Argy, Wiltse & Robinson, P.C. (Argy) as a tax partner in 2001 in connection with the merger of his practice of Stoy, Malone & Company into Argy.  Chris was with Stoy, Malone & Company for 25 years.  He had a three year sabbatical during which he joined the Psychiatric Institutes of America (PIA) and became an officer in National Medical Enterprises, Inc. who acquired PIA.  This corporate experience provides Chris with insight and a better understanding of his clients.
