Joyce Robinson
Joyce Robinson has more than 25 years of diversified tax experience. Her expertise includes giving comprehensive and creative tax planning, addressing complex tax issues and performing compliance work for publicly traded, closely held corporations, partnerships and nonprofit organizations. Joyce plays a key role in Argy, Wiltse & Robinson, P.C. (Argy)’s tax practice as a technical tax expert on numerous tax matters and, in particular, business combinations and other significant merger and acquisition activity. In this role, she provides tax consultation services to clients on numerous complex issues and transactions, including tax-free reorganizations and taxable acquisitions but is also a key resource for developing the technical capabilities of Argy’s tax department. A well-known tax expert, Robinson is frequently called upon to author articles and studies. She conducted a multi-state tax study covering the income, sales and use and property taxes of all 50 states for a large communications company. She has worked with several major law firms in developing the best tax advantaged strategy for corporate mergers and acquisitions. She has taught numerous seminars on a variety of tax and computer-related topics, and she has also written a number of articles for national accounting publications. Prior to co-founding Argy, she served as a tax manager at Beers & Cutler for two years and PriceWaterhouseCoopers for eight years.
