Ron has created effective solutions in both public and corporate accounting for over 20 years. His proven expertise lies in tax planning and compliance, entity and accounting method selection / change, tax aspects of business acquisition and sale, and advising rapidly growing businesses and their owners. Primary industries served are government contractors, IT businesses, software and technology companies, and professional service organizations.
While his four years at Price Waterhouse and two years at a smaller firm provided a strong technical foundation, it was his experience outside of public accounting as the corporate controller of a $120 million company that enhanced his ability to address issues from the client's point of view. As the key member of management for a growing, successful contractor, Ron supervised all aspects of corporate accounting including all tax work.
Ron’s areas of specialty include IRS and State Audits, taxation of S-corporations, executive compensation, multi-state issues, sales and use tax issues, and exceptional client service.
