Radiation of Patch and Slot Antenna Arrays Located on a Conducting Cylinder with a Dielectric Cover

This paper shows the use of Green's functions of layered cylindrical structure for solving radiation problems of low-element antenna arrays located on curved surfaces. Rectangular patch antennas and slots are investigated as antenna array elements using NI AWR software. Unknown current harmonics are defined by integral equation solving. The radiation of 9-element array antenna located on a cylinder with a cover is investigated. The co-polarized and cross-polarized radiation patterns are given.
